History

The Club was established in 1926 as a Bowls Club, and is situated in the lovely surroundings of the Old Court House Recreation Ground, a park located just off Wood Street in High Barnet.

In 2023 in recognition of a local demand for croquet, the club decided to devote its second green to the game of Croquet, and at a Special AGM changed its name to Barnet Bowls and Croquet Club.

The club is affiliated to Bowls England, Croquet England, Finchley and North London Bowls Association, Hertfordshire Bowls and the East Anglia Croquet Federation.

In 2026 we celebrated our Centenary
